The DJBIC are ESG stock indices provided by S&P Dow Jones Indices. Based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) conducted by S&P Global, the indices evaluate companies from the perspectives of "Governance & Economic," "Environmental," and "Social" dimensions, and select companies that demonstrate outstanding sustainability performance within their respective industries.
The DJBIC Asia Pacific Index covers companies in Japan, Asia, and Oceania. In this year's review, 162 companies (including 76 Japanese companies) were selected from a universe of approximately 600 leading companies in the region.
